Take to the trails in sporty cushioned comfort wearing Skechers Switch Back – Cascades. This casual trail lace-up features a mesh and synthetic overlay upper with a well-cushioned midsole, flexible high-traction outsole and an Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole.
Mesh Upper
Providing long-lasting comfort and protection, the Skechers Switch Back – Cascades have been created with an upper made of mesh and synthetic overlays. The mesh ensures that feet remain cool and cosy during your next outdoor adventures. The materials are soft and durable, helping to keep feet well protected, whilst the synthetic overlays add further protection and structure to the shoes, whilst protecting your feet from bumps and scrapes. A traditional lace-up closure provides you with a secure locked-in, fit and helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring when on the move.
Lightweight EVA Midsole
The midsole will benefit your foot by preventing heavy contact with the ground to cause discomfort or injury. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is dense and packed, which will absorb contact with sharp objects and heavy ground contact. The energy created will then be transferred into rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. As you go further up the midsole, the EVA changes in its characteristics. This will give you a soft cushioned feel on every step. Completing the midsole is a Skechers signature Air-Cooled memory Foam which provides high rebound cushioning and enhanced breathability. The insole ensures added underfoot cushioning and works to increase breathability so your feet will always remain comfortable and cool.
Flexible Traction Outsole
Providing you with exceptional grip and traction across a variety of surfaces and environments, the Summits AT utilises a flexible traction outsole. This outsole is also highly durable, to provide your feet with excellent protection, which also means that when you walk on rough and hard surfaces, the definition and shape of the outsole will not be affected, helping to increase the lifespan of the shoe. As well as this, there are multi-directional lugs and grooves which will also dig into surfaces and anchor you into place. This will give you stability in certain movements and actions securing your foot as you take off, brake or change direction.
