Breathable Mesh and Synthetic Upper
Providing long-lasting comfort and protection, the Summits AT have a combined upper of mesh and synthetic upper. The mesh materials provide your feet with a comfortable, fresh feeling, preventing your feet from overheating. A constant supply of airflow is provided to ensure that moisture and sweat are wicked effectively leaving you ready to tackle any adventure. The materials are soft and durable, helping to keep feet well protected, whilst the synthetic overlays add further protection and structure to the shoes. A traditional lace-up closure provides you with a secure locked-in, fit and helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring when you’re on the move.
Lightweight EVA Midsole
The midsole will benefit your foot by preventing heavy contact with the ground to cause discomfort or injury. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is dense and packed, which will absorb contact with sharp objects and heavy ground contact. The energy created will then be transferred into rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. As you go further up the midsole, the EVA changes in its characteristics. This will give you a soft cushioned feel on every step. In direct contact with the foot, the insole of the shoe is made with a large memory foam pad. Extremely soft and smooth, the foam over time will mould and remember your individual footshape, which will make the shoe feel even more personalised and comfy.
Flexible Traction Outsole
Providing you with exceptional grip and traction across a variety of surfaces and environments, the Summits AT utilises a flexible traction outsole. This outsole is also highly durable, to provide your feet with excellent protection, which also means that when you walk on rough and hard surfaces, the definition and shape of the outsole will not be affected, helping to increase the lifespan of the shoe. As well as this, there are multi-directional lugs and grooves which will also dig into surfaces and anchor you into place. This will give you stability in certain movements and actions securing your foot as you take off, brake or change direction.
